Accuracy first
Every factual claim about regulations, product specifications or financial outcomes must be traceable to a source or clearly framed as an estimate with stated assumptions. Claims we cannot support are removed, not softened.
Sourcing
We prefer primary sources: manufacturer technical documentation, network operator guidance, and published standards. Where a topic is contested or evolving, we say so on the page rather than picking the most convenient interpretation.
Fact-checking and review
Guides carry a fact-check status and, where applicable, the name of the person who reviewed them. Regulatory content is re-checked when guidance changes and at least annually.
Corrections
Errors are corrected promptly. Material corrections are recorded in the update log with the date and a short description of what changed.
Commercial separation
Advertisers and affiliate partners have no input into editorial content, product ordering, compliance status or calculator assumptions.
