What PlugInSun is
PlugInSun is an independent comparison and education site for plug-in solar in the United Kingdom. We record product specifications, prices and compliance status; we explain the rules; and we provide a savings calculator whose assumptions are published in full rather than hidden behind a headline number.
What we will not do
- We do not invent ratings, review scores, prices or compliance verifications. Where a value is not recorded, the site says so.
- We do not publish savings figures as guarantees. Every estimate is a range with stated assumptions.
- We do not let commercial relationships change rankings or verdicts.
- We do not present ourselves as installers, electricians or legal advisers.
How the site is funded
PlugInSun earns commission from some retailer links and from rooftop solar quote referrals. Those payments never change the price you pay, and they do not influence how products are ordered or described. Where a page contains affiliate links, it says so at the top.
Editorial independence
Product records, guides and calculator assumptions are maintained separately from commercial arrangements. Anything we cannot verify is marked as unverified rather than smoothed over.
