Analytics

Aggregate usage measurement — which pages are read, which comparisons are run, which outbound links are clicked — is only enabled after you accept non-essential cookies. It is used to improve the site's accuracy and usefulness, not to build advertising profiles. We use Google Analytics 4 for this, with IP anonymisation enabled.

Session recording (Microsoft Clarity)

If you accept the Analytics category, we also use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site — for example which sections are read and where people get stuck. Clarity may record page interactions such as clicks, scrolling and mouse movement. Strict masking is applied: the contents of form fields and any potentially sensitive input are never captured. Clarity does not load at all until you accept Analytics cookies, and rejecting or withdrawing consent stops it entirely.

Affiliate tracking

When you click through to a retailer, that retailer may set its own cookies to attribute the visit. Those cookies are controlled by the retailer under their own policy, not by PlugInSun.

Changing your mind

You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, which will cause the cookie banner to appear again on your next visit. Browser settings can also block cookies entirely; the informational parts of this site will still work.

No advertising cookies

We do not run third-party display advertising and do not set cross-site advertising cookies.
